Holidays and Mini-Breaks of Excellence Since 1980

COMPANY OVERVIEW:

The proprietors of our company are Celia, Alan and Julian Phillips. Alan and Celia have been operating coach holidays throughout the UK, France, Italy and Europe since 1980. Their son, Julian and his wife Gemma joined the company in 2015.  Julian or Alan will be acting as driver/courier when you choose to travel with us. Gemma is responsible for the administration side of the business and it is most likely her voice that you will hear when you phone us. We are a true family business that is well in to its second generation.

The
emphasis of our tours, both European coach holidays and day excursions, is quiet, relaxing, and scenic, the journey being as enjoyable as the destination. An informative commentary is given on all journeys, and cold drinks are available from the on-board fridge. No music or videos are played on board.

The vehicle you will be travelling on is the most up-to-date in respect of comfort, safety and reduced carbon emissions. It is British built and was brand new in October 2023. The carbon footprint per passenger on our coach is one ninth of that per passenger on an aircraft.

As coach tour operators our programme of tours, day excursions and European coach holidays is changed annually, but most destinations are repeated, within two to three years. The hotels are carefully selected by the Phillips family, and equally the itineraries are planned with the utmost care.

The programme listed on this site can be arranged for a private group, but we are pleased to discuss with any organiser the individual requirements for their particular party.

We look forward to you travelling with us...

Travel writing by Julian Phillips: The Glorious M5

"The M5 is glorious! People often assume that motorways are concrete carbuncles that merely take motorists from A to B, yet they are so much more. They are conduits between communities, different landscapes and points in time.

From Roman roads to supersonic aircraft, this uniquely informative book has something for every traveller, adding intrigue and enjoyment to their journey.

The reader is taken on a southbound journey through the 31 junctions of the M5, from the West Midlands to the West Country. The route hides many interesting stories and leads to some beautiful scenery and extraordinary villages, towns and cities. After reading this book, travelling on the M5 will be a glorious journey."

This travel guide was published by our director, Julian Phillips, in 2020. It is available to order through all good bookshops, including Wyre Forest Books of Bewdley and Alison's Bookshop & Musicroom of Tewkesbury.
