Fri 25th - Mon 28th September 2020

To mark 40 years since our company was founded, we would like to show you some of the exquisite corners of South Devon, including the home of the famous author Agatha Christie. The luxurious Queens Hotel Paignton, our base for 4 nights dinner, bed and breakfast, has an ideal level situation. A two minute gentle stroll will take you to the town centre shops or the seafront where you can take in the splendid views of the bay. The hotel is renowned for its excellent cuisine, friendly atmosphere, homely ambience and professional staff, ensuring it’s one of the best holiday hotels in Torbay. All rooms are en-suite with TV and tea facilities. There is a lift, indoor swimming pool and evening entertainment.

Provisional Itinerary:

Day 1: Mid-morning departure from the Midlands, arriving at our hotel mid-afternoon.

Day 2: Full day excursion. We follow the River Dart along its estuary to Dartmouth. We then board a cruise on the Dart Estuary, sailing past Greenway, the former home of Agatha Christie. Sadly, Covid19 has meant that we cannot tour the house or grounds as originally planned. After time in Dartmouth we return to Paignton.

Day 3: Late morning departure to Teignmouth. A pleasant coastal town which is also a mecca for rail enthusiasts.

Day 4: Return to the Midlands after a leisurely breakfast.
