Austria is a country with outstanding scenery with an intricate pattern of lofty snow capped peaks, deep valleys, forests and beautiful lakes.  You can be sure of a warm welcome and great hospitality at the family-run Hotel Brückenwirt in St Johann im Pongau.  All rooms are en-suite with hairdryer and satellite TV.  There is an outdoor pool, gym, spa, sauna, garden and a lift. Included is a visit to the medieval city of Salzburg as well as a journey to over 8,000ft above sea level over the Grossglockner Pass. There is no overnight travel, the first and last night being at the Ramada Hotel in Bruhl-Koln. Our journey is via the Eurotunnel with half board accommodation throughout.

Provisional Itinerary: 

Day 1: Early-morning departure from the West Midlands, traveling via Eurotunnel, arriving to our overnight stop at Bruhl early evening.

Day 2: After breakfast we head South towards the Alps. After a leisurely break in Oberammergau we continue East towards the Austrian Tyrol, arriving at our hotel early evening.

Day 3: At leisure in St Johann im Pongau. 

Day 4: Excursion to Salzburg.

Day 5: Leisurely tour over the Grossglockner Pass, assending to over 8,000ft above sea level.

Day 6: Return to Bruhl, arriving late afternoon.

Day 7: Return to the UK via Eurotunnel, beginning to drop off in the West Midlands early evening.
