Head to the south coast after Christmas and recharge your batteries at Bournemouth, one of the finest seaside towns in the country. Coastal walks in either direction can take you to Sandbanks or Boscombe or Christchurch. There will be a Christmas Tree Trail illuminating the Lower Gardens. The traditional Cumberland Hotel is situated on East Cliff a 15 minute walk, or short bus ride, from the town centre and the pier. All rooms are level access. Guests have access to the an indoor pool, sauna, mini gym and squash facilities at the adjacent Suncliff Hotel. Entertainment is provided each evening. Half board accommodation.

Provisional Itinerary:

Day 1: Mid-morning departure from the Midlands.

Day 2: A leisurely excursion round Poole Harbour to Wimborne Minster and Swanage. 

Day 3: At leisure in Bournemouth.

Day 4: Return to the Midlands.
