Llandudno is the ideal base from which to explore the dramatic scenery of North Wales. At the foot of the Great Orme, the stylish town has a lot to offer. From the fantastic array of shops along Mostyn Broadway, to the tours around the Orme on a vintage coach or on a vintage tram, or a walk along the sea front to the Happy Valley Gardens.  We stay half board at the family run Merrion Hotel on the sea front, just a short walk from the town centre and the pier. Includes Mothering Sunday Lunch prior to departure.

Provisional Itinerary: 

Day 1: Mid-morning departure from the West Midlands. We stop for an hour's break outside Chirk before continuing to Llandudno, arriving at our hotel mid-afternoon.

Day 2: A leisurely excursion along the coast and Menai Straits to the Royal town of Caenarfon. We then continue over Britannia Bridge to the small town of Beaumaris.

Day 3: Morning at leisure in Llandudno. Departure after Sunday lunch.
