Scarborough is a popular holiday resort that combines the natural beauty of the Yorkshire coast with good seaside entertainment.  The old spa town has sandy bays, a busy harbour, large shopping centre, beautiful gardens and the famous ‘Royal’.  A gentle stroll down the cliff path will take you to the sea front and Spa Centre, then the cliff railway will whisk you back to the top.  Half board accommodation is provided at the luxurious Esplanade Hotel which has a spectacular cliff position and beautiful views of South Bay.   There is an excellent choice of fine cuisine served in the spacious and elegant Landau restaurant.  All rooms are en-suite, with TV, radio, tea facilities and the hotel has a lift.
